Red Star Artefact

Many myths and legends begin beyond the heavens, with unearthly objects signalling portentous events. Or so it seems to us, who gaze longingly upwards, still in the grip of our intellectual infancy... Adam's 18th mint on SuperRare marks the start of a new series of works exploring our reactions to the unfamiliar and how our interpretations give birth to symbolism. The ‘red object’ series of works all derive from the same single mixed-media painting, which Adam has processed repeatedly through a GAN app and then digitally reworked, resulting in these variations. This piece is minted exactly two and a half years since Adam’s first NFT, ‘Where the sea meets the sky’, also minted here on SR.
