Impossible Sculptures | Lucid Series no.1

mpossible Sculptures Lucid Series technically refers to portraits that Rembrandt and other artists around him often used during his time, often illuminated by a single artificial light source. We manipulate this lighting with generative fluid simulations. Again, without being too obvious, we use gestures used in the modern world. We both think that the modern man instinctively seeks a kind of self-iconography when creating his own presence on social media. There are several reasons for this; sometimes we find the photos we like very iconic and share them many times, repeating the stances, light and color patterns we like.
