Each painting I create is a collaboration with the past, present, and future. In respect to the past, I am always aware that the algorithms I use are not mine, but an amalgamation of work done by all the greats before me. In this portrait, the AI has combined my face with two of them. On my right is John McCarthy, the man who coined the term "Artifiicial Intelligence." On my left is Ada Lovelace, the woman often credited with being the first computer programmer. From the present, I found inspiration from a number of conversations I had with nohbhodi.
