An official art collaboration celebrating the labels 30th anniversary, by Death Row Records, TillaVision, and Flux 88 Studios. This exclusive piece debuted live at Death Row x Crooks & Castles event in Los Angeles on June 30th. I diligently prepared this artwork by delving deep into the label’s iconic history that defined west coast hip hop in the 90s. As a lifelong fan of Death Row, I took a look at the lasting cultural impact that it has today, to obtain greater insight on what effect the label could still have a century after it launched. Learning the labels original name was Future Shock inspired this vision.
