Curtain Call

One of the coolest moments of my career was my curtain call after I hit a grand slam in the 8th inning. Words can’t describe the feeling as I stood at the top of the steps and witnessed the roaring cheers of the crowd. I felt like I was in a movie! All of the hard work I put in from day one was rewarded at that very moment. In this piece, the faces in the crowd are the heroes that inspired me throughout my life. From family members (by blood and by bone marrow) to powerful figures and sports legends, these are the people that played a role in helping me achieve my dreams!
