Above and Below

As Carl Jung has written, water is the spirit that has become unconscious. Our intuitive nature can inform our conscious decisions. Water occurs frequently in my work, representing the deeper parts of our minds. In this piece my eyes barely rise above the water’s surface; I am seeing the outside world but drawing on sensations from the inner one.
