The African-American community has been in survival mode for as long as we've been in America. We didn't have property or wealth to pass down from generation to generation. Only less than 160 years ago, we were the property. Which is why I see the potential with cryptocurrency to drastically alter the narrative.
With every artwork I sell, outside of the works in the gallery, a percentage will be put aside in a pool that when my nephews turn 18, they'll have the ability to access their share. My hope is with more adoption and the continuing weakening of the USD, "HODLing" cryptocurrency for them will be the key to financial freedom for generations to come.
