As is often the case with my artwork this installation piece is designed more for the metaverse of the future, but can be displayed and interacted with in the current one. Hand sculpted using Virtual Reality art tools and inspired by insects this audible sculpture uses a trichobothria aerial system to detect airborne vibrations, data and the electrical charge of the aether. The input data is then passed through the carapace and converted into audible frequencies for human interpretation. I’m imagining a metaverse governed by an advanced AI and the tools we could use to access and interpret it’s dreams.
