In this piece, i have tried to symbolically capture the joy and elation lovers feel the moment they set eyes upon one another.
This is from a time when phones and internet never existed, when the man of the house stepped out for food, work or war and was away often for months on end. The only memory he had of his woman was some lucky charm, the fragrance of a tasty meal, the scent of a flower that his girl wore on her hair or a memory of her laugh.
