Humankind has always looked to the stars for guidance. In archaic times we looked to the actual stars, nowadays to movie stars. I’ve heard that when films were first shown in rural villages, like at drive-ins today, often, as the climax approached, the men in the audience would draw their guns and start shooting the bad guy, breaking the illusion of the story by filling a perfectly good movie screen with holes.
