GRRRL (Feminists Intergenerational)

"GRRRL" digital collage presents a mosaic of past and contemporary feminist icons that have influenced my path as an artist. In this work, I pay hommage to pioneers, artists and activists that have marked their time through the power of their voices and perseverance such as dancer Isadora Duncan, art activists Guerrilla Girls, sculptor Camille Claudel, political activists FEMEN, singer songwriter Nina Simone and African American author and activist Angela Davis. This collage was published and exhibited in feminist events in both Montreal and in New York.
