Meduza Disenchantment

The archetype of an unruly woman, threatening male authority. An ancient myth that repeats the same story today. For me Perseus was not a hero nor Medusa a monster. What about that myth today? In our culture it seems that not abiding by the rules and being transgressors has become a stereotype of masculinity, even these behaviors are celebrated / not very distant from what happens in the myth / but ... Is it representing a limit what is costing the lives of many women? Is it the power wielded by a woman that represents such a fearsome threat?
