There are a few types of seeing:
- Seeing the thing
- Seeing into it
- Seeing THROUGH it
To see ‘through’ is to understand the true nature and intentions of the other while seeing its perspective of its surroundings, including yourself.
A leopard is most likely going to see you long before you are aware of its presence - especially at night. In fact, I’m certain I have walked or driven past a countless amount of leopards over the years. Big cats have a large amount of rod cells in their eyes which allows them to pick up motion very easily in the dark.
