When it comes to rocky landscapes, it's hard to not mention the Dolomites. I have not yet seen an area that offers such rugged mountains as these in the north of Italy.
Huge cliffs, harsh rocks, and a lake so brilliantly blue that even the sky looks pale against it - that's Lago di Sorapis in the Italian Dolomites. The hike there is not without its challenges. But that doesn't stop the masses of tourists from visiting this place in summer. No wonder! Once you get over the last climb, you'll realize why. The azure blue that shines from this lake is incomparable to any other.
