The Grand Canyon, carved by the mighty Colorado River, is an inspiration like no other. I wanted to emphasize the water in “A River Runs Through It” which is named after the Novel by Norman Maclean. In the novel, the central theme in their life is the river. Likewise, the river is the main subject of this photo. Without the Colorado River, this majestic wonder of nature would not exist. In the desert Southwest, water is hard to find, but it is water that has shaped the landscape and left us with these beautiful features.
