fear of letting go

there are things i can tell you and things you have to find out yourself i remember when you were still small all we did was eat, sleep and play i would read you the books you picked from the shelf you even needed a little chair to get to them out of the cupboard you used to park all your toy cars on the carpet all in the same direction, close together, your collection now you're taking the train to school and all i can do is hope i taught you well
