On a balmy Sunday summer evening in 2015, local supergroup calling themselves Raw Power came together in Seattle to play a set of Stooges covers on the roof of Seattle’s historic Pike Place Market to an audience of nearly 10,000 down in the streets below. The group consisted of, left to right, Mark Arm (Mudhoney, Green River), Duff McKagan (Guns n’ Roses, Velvet Revolver), Mike McCready (Pearl Jam, Mad Season) and drummer Barrett Martin (Screaming Trees, Tuatara).
