#39: Cetacean City (Dobī Maias)

Bioships are apparently immortal, at least from our perspective. We’ve never seen one die from natural causes, but blunt force will do it. Very few alien weapons can kill an animal of their size, and The Gator is the only native predator in the galaxy. We slew it with the photon aerial, attached to Aiak’us. Other members of its evil species may exist. Dobī Maias was a tragic victim of The Gator’s fitful slashing; headless, gurgling its rattle (through a stream of blood). The eyes of our poor vessel turned to black — devoid of life behind them — then their liquids drained, into the void, and left the sockets hollow.
