More than 18 million people have crossed the border escaping war Russia brought to Ukraine in February 2022. Some had their emergency backpacks ready and fled in the first days of the full scale invasion, with sounds of missile explosions, enemy tanks and helicopters on the background. Some had minutes to pack their valuables and hop on a bus heading west, leaving everything behind: their belongings, their jobs, their home, their life - life before February 24, 2022.
