In July of 2021, my state went into a serious lockdown due to the covid outbreak. We weren't able to travel more than 5 kilometers from our residence. As an artist who at the time craved solace at the beach and shooting sunrises, I had this option taken away from me.
As the lockdown progressed and my mental health declined, I looked inwards to how I could create art without leaving my home.
It was during this time that I found 2 different genres of photography that I could do. Deep Space Astrophotography and Water Collision photography. This kept me sane and brought joy into my life during lockdown.
I created this piece as a symbol of the two things that kept me going.
