Christian Popkes Born in 1965 in Germany. His career aspiration was clear from childhood onwards: photographer. For his studies, he moved to the north and studied in Dortmund and Bielefeld. Since then he has been living in Hamburg as an independent photographer, book author, artistic director, curator and networker and works for advertising agencies and publishing houses, among others. He describes himself as “a photographing picture person.“ In addition to numerous works for various magazines and well-known companies, his focus is on people and their souls.
