I'm and ER surgeon. I work closely with the ER doctors to address things that require immediate surgery such as artery compression or cessation due to a car accident, stabilization for severe wounds, and even sometimes bringing patients back to life using defibrillators. It's never a dull moment when I clock in. Sometimes I stay at the hospital for 30 hours at a time because there are so many patients and so few ER surgeons present. When I'm off work, I also organize physical world protests, like Occupy Wall St. I lead efforts to demand market transparency via social media.
