Inspired by the role of natural forces in a virtual world, the Harmonic Opposites collection tows the blurred boundary between the organic and the synthetic. The resulting resonant animations showcase the ability of the computer to simulate naturally-occurring systems and the ability of nature to visually articulate modern technological quandaries. These audio-visual compositions were crafted with feedback and time-displacement visual effects in combination with live-action footage of lasers and volumetric light. The series is a sampler of 3 different sub-collections which will be released in the coming months.
