On 04.25.2022 the parasite [ S P A C E B L O B ] found itself in favorable conditions for spread to a nearby entity.
Quarantine procedures were swiftly enacted, keeping it at bay from younger prey. However, it managed to traverse 2 units to the right and infect a new host.
After a brief incubation period, the parasite burst forth from MURI [8305] and a new hybrid was born.
Research notes:
Hybrid P F P A R A S I T E S do not seem capable of infecting new hosts. The original P F P A R A S I T E seems to have gone dormant as well - perhaps waiting for a new environment with fresh prey.
