Horizon

I see a bright horizon. I've lived a lifetime of sunsets, all across the earth. I used to fear the darkness. I was apprehensive of the night. I did not want to lose the light. Until I learned that even in darkness, light remains. I now find comfort at day's end. I know the sun is never gone, it has truly been present all along. I see a bright horizon.
