The Last Train to Kanazawa

As the sun began to set, the last train scheduled for the city rumbled past the small wooden shop lot. The train passed by quickly, its wheels grinding on the tracks, and soon it was gone. The sound of cricket and bird chirping penetrated the quiet evening ambient. An inviting ambiance is created by the peaceful sight of the countryside hidden deep within the prairie. The serene scene of the countryside nestled in the heart of the prairie provides a warm and friendly atmosphere. The feeling of content to be alone with thoughts, breathing in the fresh country air, and feeling grateful for the life we had created for ourselves in this small corner of the world. Hachimi (2023)
