The Gift

Based on a recent dream of mine: Earth was at war with an alien army that was trying to invade. I was at the head of the defense and we crushed much of their military power and were winning. Fast-forward and it's night time - me and my family are sleeping, but suddenly the leaders of these aliens come into my home. They had me and my family gather in the living room to discuss, as they planned to come to a peace agreement since we weren't going to lose.
