Shared Memory 006

Some memories are born from group experiences - shared spaces - and remembered from different perspectives. No one person can hold the whole memory to themselves. Symbolically this photograph of a salt lake bed out past 29 Palms, California has been sliced into twelve unique pieces which only when brought together make the whole picture. Each shard originated from a printed photograph taken in 2009, that was enhanced with flakes of yellow and blue spraypaint in 2022. Even shared memories are obscured by new life experiences.
