Awakening

In my earliest works I tried to convey this connection to the water with humans. I don't think my ideas were nearly as refined as they are now but I still felt that it was important to focus on water as it is the life giver. In the water and often things like nature are presented in the feminine. This piece serves as a visual pun both in water and representing water by the color a birth of something new. Life. As an artist who looks back at work to see where I have come from, there are works that you would rather not show the world. This one is important and I feel very powerful.
