'Float' by Voltaine captures the grace and power of the human figure in motion. It explores forms of repetition found in nature and applies them to modern dance in a way only possible using the procedural nature of the Houdini visual effects workflow. The piece combines a variety of techniques including motion capture, modelling, animation and generative shading. Original audio also by Voltaine. Rendered in 3D using Houdini and Octane Render.
