Shor's new works were created out of a deep sense of disappointment with technology, and due to her renewed preoccupation with the concept of the "human." Shor engages in the practice of creating digital and technological art, yet during the pandemic, she decided to return to basics: to walking in fields and meditating in nature.
This process of emptying the mind from thought, a void, has led Shor to create a series of hybrid creatures which form a connection between the organic and the algorithmic, between the physical and the virtual.
