Hearts of Nine

Hearts of Nine was originally a collage, circa 1988, painted with acrylic on 300lb. acid free paper. I have always been fascinated with the science of patterning and use of iconic symbols to tell a story. I have used polka dots and hearts throughout the decades of my career, many times in the same piece. Nine of Hearts has inspired many of my works over the years up to the present day.
