Strength is the 5th release in the Jawbone Tarot and card XI in the Major Arcana. This card represents the courage to confront the ego and its artifices. In this sense, it represents mastery not of the world but of the passions, and is associated with the tranquility that comes with self-knowledge. True strength, the card tell us, is born of balance; true power comes only with wisdom. This card speaks to and of those individuals both aware of their instincts and firmly in control of them.
