The Final Burn

As the shooting of season 8 of Game of Thrones drew to an end, stunt coordinator, Rowley Irlam, stepped in to perform the final full body fire burn. After 'CUT!' was called but still smouldering and charred from the stunt I captured this behind-the-scenes image of the aftermath from his performance. The work that goes into creating stunts for your favourite films and TV shows is highly specialised and dangerous but yet often go under-appreciated or completely unnoticed. Scenes like this are rarely seen by the outside world. This was The Final Burn!
