Tlajtoli

Tlajtoli comes from Nahuatl and means 'spoken word'. This is one of the first murals I painted, in an old house in the San Rafael neighborhood in Mexico City, where we formed a cultural space called “La Buena Estrella”. In it, me with a group of artists and curators were dedicated to producing art and exhibitions, giving space to other artists in the city to present their proposals and engage in dialogue. The objective of this space was to link the local community of the neighborhood with the world of art and open a space for mutual understanding and learning.
