A Wife's Duty

After the fall of an entire Samurai Clan in battle, the wives fled far into the mountains where they established a new hierarchy of female warriors left to defend and uphold their husbands honor. They channel the supernatural power gifted to them buy the specters of their fallen husbands. In the afterlife, if a samurai has fallen in battle, his honor is harnessed as a lifeforce not seen by the human eye, but passed down to the one they gave their heart to before dying a warriors death. These women fight with the heart of two and the furiosity of many.
