This was born from my overwhelming sadness & anger from seeing all the plastic in the park on my daily walks. I pick up as much as I can but there's so much that it gives me anxiety and I almost avoid walking there.
I want to pretend it doesn't exist and live in ignorance, but I know that's lying to myself. One of the things that gets me the most is seeing disposable masks on the ground and imagining how many millions are left on the ground and have found their way to the oceans around the world. Humans have become so selfish in attempt to save ourselves during this pandemic at the expense of the very planet we live on, and all the nature that we share it with.
It will only end up coming...
