Representing the cycle of birth and rebirth, the Wheel of Samsara gives guidance to Buddhists through allegorical depictions of life. Sitting at the top of the Wheel of Samsara is the Realm of the Gods. Living a long, fruitful life of splendor, the Gods’ extreme privilege blinds them to the suffering of others.
