The massive stone archways etched into the elysian landscape are called stargates. These ritual monuments span the elysian continent, stretching from the far west grasslands all the way into the elysian desert. The purpose of these gates has been lost to time, the ancient markings in the language of the angels unreadable by modern man. Many speculate that they were used as markers of civilization or as part of a coming-of-age ritual, while others believe that they were created by the angels themselves.
