Hi guys :) I’m sophia alexa, I’m an artist and songwriter born in california and raised in amsterdam, now living in london. i’ve had a love of songwriting since the day my obsession with Joni Mitchell started. growing up all I listened to was 70s music while writing songs at my kitchen table and I never thought I’d be releasing them. i wrote buried alive at a time when i had become a bit of a hoarder, and i’d hold on to everything, down to pamphlets from a doctors office to every journal I’ve written in. it was a strange sentimental attachment to everything i owned. i wondered why people, including me, attach themselves to things, and it’s more than materialism, it’s having something permane...View all
