Freeze learned his sword skills from Izion, the chief swordsman of the Arctic Clan; he taught Freeze how to use his ice sword inherited from his father in a way that he would also control ice while using the sword. After decades of intense training, he was able to unleash hidden powers that will grant him complete control of cold and ice.
