Meditating Jesus

My 8 year old son asked me what God was. I said it depends on what people believe. I'm more spiritual rather than religious, so I said I thought God was the energy that surrounds us all. He said he thinks God is an artist, that is painting us all as we go along. I thought it was a very beautiful thought from a child. That night, he painted this canvas of a Jesus Ganesh Meditating under a Rainbow. Of all the hundreds of paintings I've done myself over my life, this one painting by my 8 year old son represents the fact that I've raised a good soul, and even though I didn't paint it, I consider it my Masterpiece.
