Beautiful Addiction

This piece juxtaposes the concept of addiction i grew up in a trench town in the northern sub-hurb of Nigeria. and i seen kids, adults and various individuals addicted to drugs, it was a narrow escape for me too. as an artist its my ultimate goal to document my life. The rope across my subjects eyes and mouth shows how addiction can blind you and keep your mouth shut from speaking, its a bitter sweet scenario it eats deep down the soul. The environment surrounding the art piece (the flower and the bubbles), represents the beauty of life and how wholesome it can be if we channel towards end.
