River Traffic

Many rivers in the Australian Outback remain dry for months on end, until the rains come. But in the meantime their soft, sandy bed becomes a highway for man an animal alike, as they traverse over the patterns left by the receding water as the water evaporates, and all can be seen only from the air. This image was taken on one of my many trips through the Australian Outback as I live nomadically.
