Had we have not done our research, we would have never known it was abandoned. We rolled up at sunrise and as we made our way inside the building, the smell of smoke greeted our nostrils. The first room we entered was a gymnasium, which appeared to have recently suffered from a small fire - hence the smell. We quietly poked around until we found the church.
