Hrant Khachatryan

Born in Yerevan, Armenia, Hrant, grew up under the supervision of his grandmother from the age of 5.  After graduating from high school he didn’t listen to her advice to study computer engineering and lead by his inner voice and creative talent he decided to enter the Armenian Academy of Fine Arts. From an early age, he developed an interest in photography and after graduating from the academy Hrant worked as a designer until his passion for photography took over his artistic practice. In 2012 he started his career as a photographer at a major local photojournalistic agency.
