The (re)Birth of Venus

A number of parallels can be drawn between the Renaissance era, and the artistic, scientific, cultural revolution and the significant patronage that art experienced with NFTs, often referred to as the digital art renaissance. By drawing inspiration from Greco-Roman mythology and using the nude figure outside the Christian sacred field, Sandro Botticelli's painting "The Birth of Venus" (circa 1485) was considered revolutionary.
