CryptoPrompts

CryptoPrompts distorts various CryptoPunk PNGs, produced by prompting two different kinds of Artificial Intelligences with idealistic, random, & sometimes meaningless keywords. The entire library of 10,000 CryptoPunks was downloaded and each Punk was chosen to feed into the AI at random, mirroring the luck and chaos of the Web 3.0 space. CryptoPrompts uses some of today’s newest technology and is meant to be displayed on a retro PC and CRT monitor, referencing the web’s lineage. Created as a sister piece to CERTIFIED PUNK!, CryptoPrompts invites the viewer to question the success of Web 3.0’s goal – to create a less corporatized and politicized digital environment through decentralization.
