In Bitonto, in an enchanting place surrounded by centuries-old olive trees, stands the Torre del Luponimo, it is said that numerous werewolves used to take refuge here. But not only. In the town of Bitonto, in particular, it is not uncommon to hear still from the elders of the community mysterious and disturbing tales about the wolf man, called in dialect u lupomon (the wolf man). In those parts, the werewolf is still very much present as a protagonist in the collective imagination.
