It also marks an important story in the Maths Town journey. The first orbit-trap zoom I rendered for the channel consisted of calculating 14,400 individual frames over several weeks. The result was an aliased mess, but I published it anyway. I realised there must be a better way and set about programming a system to smoothly build a video using keyframes.
